A Quieter Interior and Better Connectivity

With the redesign of the 2014 Sierra’s body, the doors are now inlaid into the cab, which when combined with the new triple door seals, creates an airtight seal for an ultra-quiet cabin. New interior sound deadening and more aerodynamic mirrors and inner fender liners also contribute to the Sierra’s quiet interior. The 2014 Sierra Double Cab now has front-hinged rear doors with dedicated door handles helping make access to the rear seating area easier than with the previous generation’s rear-hinged doors. Now rear passengers can exit the truck without interfering with the front passengers’ doors.

Special attention was also paid to the Sierra’s interior materials. Available soft-touch materials and aluminum trim add elegance while a new 4.2-inch Driver Information Center ensures Sierra drivers keep abreast of the engine’s performance. Sierra is available with a 110-volt outlet, four 12-volt outlets, an SD card slot, and up to five USB ports to keep a bevy of electronics fully charged. Available Intellilink uses a high-definition 8-inch color touch screen with controls for Bluetooth phone, Pandora app, and all-new map displays for navigation.
